RCA Welcome

About Roxboro Christian Academy:  Roxboro Christian Academy was founded in 1976.  It is a non-profit, diploma-granting institution operating under the Division of Non-Public Instruction of North Carolina. RCA offers a quality, Biblically-based academic program for children Pre-K through Grade 12.  In addition to college preparatory courses, teachers and staff provide support for individual student needs as well as abilities in fine arts.  Athletics, band, technology, and journalism are a few of the activities in which students are able to participate.

The mission of RCA is two-fold: to reach children with the gospel and make a difference in the community.

Separate chapels are held for elementary and upper school students weekly.  Students are encouraged to be active in their local congregation and participate in school and congregational retreats, and mission efforts.

Extracurricular activities include band, field trips, science fair and Envirothon participation, and academic competitions.  Soccer, volleyball, and basketball are available for students who wish to participate.

Many of our activities, such as our drama presentations, involve the community.  Our band marches in the Person County Christmas parade and Rougemont’s Easter parade.

Some activities serve as fundraisers, such as our Fall Festivals, Citrus Fruit and BBQ dinner sales.

Since our school receives no tax dollars, we are constantly looking for funds.  We receive money for “Green Improvements” by participating in the “Dream Green Make-over” which recycles bottles and cans.  We also collect Box Tops for Education, Campbell Soup labels, and Sunny D labels.
